Precautions for using citric acid disinfectant
Citric acid disinfectant is mainly composed of citric acid, which can kill bacteria and spores when heated to 80 ℃. It is specially used for the disinfection of hemodialysis with proportional mixing system and can be heated to 80 ℃.
At the time of use, the dilution water must be from the reverse osmosis water treatment system and meet the water quality requirements of American AAMI and ASAIO hemodialysis water quality standard (2001). Inhale the citric acid disinfectant through the disinfectant connecting pipe, add 23 parts of water to one part of the disinfectant, and operate at 80 ℃ for 15 minutes.
Note: This product belongs to external disinfectant, not to be taken orally, and should be placed in a place not easily accessible to children. This product has severe corrosion on carbon steel at 80 ℃, moderate corrosion on aluminum, slight corrosion on copper and no corrosion on stainless steel. It must be used with caution. It is irritating to skin. Please wear gloves to avoid contact with eyes. When not in use, it should be sealed and stored in a ventilated place. It is not applicable to this product and the hemodialysis machine which can not operate for 15 minutes under the condition of 80 ℃ temperature. Valid for two years.
The specific cleaning and disinfection procedures shall be in accordance with the instructions of the hemodialysis machine manufacturer. The sterilized medical devices must be rinsed with sterile water before use.
Killing microorganism category: it can kill enteropathogenic bacteria, pyogenic cocci, pathogenic yeast and bacterial spores above 80 ℃.
The manufacturers of disinfectant pay attention to the disinfection effect of disinfectant, but many disinfectants with "Xiao" brand name are not necessarily suitable for hemodialysis machine, instead, when they are sterilized with chemical analysis pure sodium hypochlorite (non disinfectant product), the condition of hemodialysis machine is very good. This shows that sometimes the disinfectant can not clean the pipeline effectively, resulting in the deposition of organic matter in the pipeline.
